Family owned & operated for the last 29 years, Bridgeleigh offers you honest, creative & professional advice on every aspect of your ceremony & wedding reception. Bridgeleigh is located 25 minutes north of the city & 5 minutes from the end of the freeway. Built with a Colonial theme, it is set on 4 hectares offering views of native bushland. There are expansive landscaped cottage gardens that have year round colour with roses & petunias in Summer & azaleas, pansies & primulas in Winter. Bridgeleigh has been carefully designed to create two distinctive totally private settings. Each Hall has its own Gazebo, Gardens, Photographic locations & Carpark. The gazebos are the only garden areas used for the ceremonies so there are no other conflicting ceremonies to be seen or music to be heard. The gardens are softly lit with mood lighting at night time & the gazebos are adorned with fairy lights.

Banksia Hall is a fantasy room with tall white trees festooned with fairy lights. Perfect for any season, it is decorated with white liliums, white ceiling drapes over the jarrah dance floor & soft white draping curtains over the jarrah colonial bay windows.

Banksia Gazebo Walk through a rose arbour & across a bridge over a small pond to a raised gazebo with a cedar shingled roof. It is flanked by lattice screens, fragrant standard roses & colourful annuals. The gazebo is surrounded by extensive lawns & hedges with many spots for that romantic wedding photo.

Wild Everlastings Walk A stunning Australian bushland setting with old farm wagons & ploughs (popular for black & white photos). From August to October it abounds with pink & white everlasting.

Boronia Hall is a cosy room for Winter or smaller weddings. It has a warmth created by tall black trees strewn with fairy lights, ceiling drapes over the jarrah dance floor & & soft white draping curtains over the jarrah colonial bay windows. Floral decorations are white & soft pink liliums.

Boronia Gazebo A charming intimate gazebo nestled into a rockery surrounded by colonial picket fencing & flowering plum trees. In Summer there is a blaze of cascading roses & petunias changing to azaleas & pansies in Winter.

Lemon Tree Grove Adjoins through a rose covered arbour offering a peaceful garden bordered by scented lemon trees. Great area for family photos.

Wishing Well Garden features rose arbours & a wishing well. Popular for the more intimate shots.

Round tables seating 10 people are standard. Hall hire is inclusive of long white Linen table cloths, Linen serviettes, Bridal Table & Cake Table skirting & scalloping, presents table, setting up costs, lectern for speeches. Air-conditioned, spacious dance floor, ample on-site parking, facilities & ramp access for wheelchairs, disabled toilets, covered entrance. Each has an ensuite bathroom one for each hall. There are two separate rooms for the use of the bridal party, Lunchtime functions commence about 12pm however you are required to vacate the hall by 4pm unless prior times have been confirmed with management. Evening functions can start whenever you wish & usually conclude by 12 am. On a Saturday evening in March, April, October or November, there is a minimum requirement of 60 full priced adults in the Boronia Hall & 80 full priced adults in the Banksia Hall. This is the number you will be charged for. At all other times there is a minimum requirement of 50 full priced adults in both halls . This is the number you will be charged for.

If you really want to be stress free then consider one of our popular All-Inclusive Packages . . . The ”Best of Bridgeleigh”, The “Magic of Bridgeleigh” & The “Ultimate Bridgeleigh”. They are designed to make the most of our reputation for fine food, service & surroundings & 80% of our couples book one of these packages. Included is everything you need for a garden wedding & reception. They represent a cost saving of 10% & are outlined in detail in separate brochures.

Should you not want to have an All-Inclusive Package, you can simply select your meal & drinks options (which are individually priced) from the Menu Booklet. All of our other services are also available to you.

From modern cuisine to favourites all artistically presented, our Chef will delight your eyes & taste buds. Our Formal Lunch or Dinner Menus offer a variety of mouth watering dishes from conservative to the more adventurous taste.

Our menus allow you to create your own menu & we specialise in providing choices for each course (no alternating dishes). Our trademark is to offer all guests a choice of seconds on Main Course at no additional cost.

Our huge Dessert Buffet is always a winner.

Our yummy chocolate fountain can be used instead of a wedding cake or just to delight your guests with Tea & Coffee.

For a more casual reception, we have two Buffet Menus. Menus can also be customised if desired & special meals can be prepared for guests with specific dietary requirements.


W e have two options . . . (refer to Pages 17-19 of the Menu Booklet)
1. Consumption . . . where a progressive total is given to you throughout he function.
2. Fixed Charge . . . a set price for beer, wines, soft drinks. Also included are spirits
for the Bridal Party & parents.
It includes a Crudite Platter which is served during pre-dinner drinks.

Bridgeleigh is fully licensed therefore we do not allow alcohol to be brought onto the premises or removed from it.

We have a Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy & our staff will only serve alcohol to a responsible level, regardless of how you are paying for drinks.


We have an experienced team of long serving DJ's & we strongly advise that you use their services. They all have a thorough knowledge of industry procedures & more importantly, how we like them to conduct receptions here. They can also act as your Master of Ceremonies. They are independent operators & all have different pricings. You are not required to pay for their meal.

You are welcome to organise your own entertainment if you wish. If they require a meal, it is $63.00. Non-resident D.J.'s are required to supply all their own equipment including a microphone for speeches.

Our D.J. unit with high quality speakers is available for hire if you want to bring your own iPod, iPad, iPhone or CDs $120. We suggest that you also hire our special effects lights to create a great atmosphere on the dance floor $100.
Bridgeleigh also has a floral decorating service providing a unique range of silk flowers for hire. We have a range of exclusive decorations for the gardens & the halls. These can also be co-ordinated with a range of linen table overlays, table runners & serviettes. Examples are on display in our Office.


W e have gorgeous white chair covers at $5.00 each tailor made to fit our chairs so they do not fall sideways. They have soft draping across the back so there is no need for a bow. You can bring your own but they must be removed at the end of the night by either your friends or decorator. If our staff have to remove your chair covers prior to vacuuming, a labour charge of $1.00 per cover applies.


Our Holden Statesman Caprice sedan (seats 4 passengers) is available for Bride pickups from the Northern suburbs to transport to Bridgeleigh for the Garden Ceremony only POA. It can also be booked to take the bride & groom to their accomodation at the end of the reception (metropolitan area) & this includes a Champagne, Cheese & Fruit Hamper...Scarborough, Mullaloo, Mindarie Keys, Joondalup, Swan Valley $140.00 : Perth City & Burswood $150.00. In the event of a double booking, a car of similar standard will be supplied.

Our luxury Landcruiser 200 VX (seats 6 passengers) is also available for Groom & Groomsmen pickups from the Northern suburbs & end of night drop offs for any special guests POA. Bookings need to be made in advance.


Bridgeleigh has a discounted rate for accommodation at Rendezvous Observation City, Quality Resort Sorrento Beach, Joondalup City Hotel, Clarion Suites at the Mullaloo Beach Hotel, Hillarys Harbour Resort Apartments. Bookings need to be made directly with them.

Items not Permitted
Confetti & Bean bag filling (a cleaning fee of $25.00 per hour per staff member will apply).
Rose petals, or scented pot pourri thrown in the gardens are quite
acceptable & will not incur a cleaning fee.
Baskets of fresh rose petals can be ordered through us in advance... $25.00 a basket.
On the Tables... Glitter & small Foil Shapes which can stick to glasses, fall into food & be swallowed.
Roc candy/boiled lollies/M & M's/Smarties as bomboniere or on a Candy Bar as they permanently stain tablecloths & carpet.
Tealight holders & candleabras need to be approved by Bridgeleigh.
Adhesive monogrammed initials/decals on the dance floor.
Tentative Bookings
A pencil booking can be made as a tentative arrangement & will be held for two weeks. If the deposit is not paid by the expiry date, we disregard the booking & the date becomes free. Please note that the onus is on you to pay the deposit by the due date, as we are unable to make reminder calls.
Deposit
A deposit of $1000.00 is required to confirm your booking. It is deducted from the total cost of the function. It is also necessary to complete & sign our Terms & Conditions.
Cancellations
Date & time (eg dinner rebooked for another dinner) is rebooked ... Refund of $850.00 ($150.00 is retained as an Administration Fee).
Date & time is not rebooked ... No refund due. Loss of $1000.00 deposit.
All cancellations must be received in writing from the person who paid the deposit before we can attempt to rebook the date.
Transfer of Date
Original date & time is rebooked ... Full refund $1000.00.
Original date & time is not rebooked ... No refund due.
To transfer to a new date an additional $150.00 Transfer Fee is payable to confirm the new booking. Notice of transfer must also be received in writing before we can attempt to rebook the date.
Price Increases
Prices are fixed from July 1st 2016 to June 30th, 2017 & are subject to increase after this time. Prices are as they are at the time of the function regardless of when the deposit is paid. All include GST.
Public Holidays
A 20% surcharge on statutory public holidays is applicable to the total cost of the Wedding.
If the wedding is the day before a Public Holiday, it must conclude by 11.30pm. If it continues after midnight, then Public Holiday rates will be charged for all kitchen & floor staff until clean up is completed.
Damage
Any damage caused to property (including tablecloths cost $35-$85) or theft during the function, by guests or by subcontractors hired by you will be charged to you. Whilst we take all care, we cannot take responsibility for loss or damage to items brought onto the premises.
Confirmation of Guests
Number of guests must be confirmed 5 days prior to the function.
On Saturday evenings in March, April, October & November there is a minimum number required...
Banksia Hall minimum 80 full-priced guests...Boronia Hall minimum 60 full-priced guests. This is the number you will be charged for.
At all other times, there is a minimum requirement of 50 adults in both halls. This is the number you will be charged for.
Payment for Food, Drinks & All Other Costs
Full payment of your account is required 5 days prior to the function.
Payments will be accepted by cash, personal cheque, bank cheque, EFTPOS, Direct debit. Credit facilities are available (Visa & Mastercard 1.5% surcharge: American Express & Diners 3% surcharge).
Drinks Payment . . . On Consumption basis . . .estimation of $4.00 per person per hour eg 5 hour bar is $20.00 per person.
Drinks Payment on Fixed Charge . . . Full payment at rate times number of hours
A Statement of Account detailing all charges is sent out after the wedding. Any further payments are 7 days upon receipt of statement. Any refund due will be sent out at this stage.
